    Angry Abit ic7 max 3

    Can anyone help when i put a cd in any one of 3 drives it takes ages to read it or pc freezes
    The pc runs ex apart from the drive prob

    Disconnect all drives except 1 unit and try again, what happens, try looking at the ribbon cables, install the latest chipset drivers.

    Umm you have 3 CD drives? WHY?!

    Try looking for a flash update if its a CDRW.

    Do you have them set on master and slave correctly ?
    Have you tried reseting the BIOS ?
