I've had to send my 2 MSI GTX460 Hawk Talon Attack cards back due to the fans getting really quite noisy and sounding like they are about to die.
Scan RMA service has been brilliant, tested the cards within hours of receiving them and sending them on to MSI. Thats when I got a shock.
It will take up to 28 days to repair replace the cards!!
Now I know this is well within legal bounds, and is absoloutly fair seeing as how the cards are nearly a year old. I'm not complaining about Scan or MSI whatsoever. Its just that i don't know how I'll cope without gaming for that long!!
My wife is literally rofl at my reaction, and i'm panicking at how I'm going to cope, so anyone have any idea how quickly MSI normally resolve these things? Good rep? Bad?
I'm reduced to a dodgy old dell lappy so any thoughts on how long I'm in purgatory for anyone?
