Asus A7N8X-E mobo and Sata hard drives

Bought Saturday Asus A7N8X-E motherboard and a pair of 160 GB Hitachi Sata drives. On booting bios doesnt recognise drives as present. In fact just offers choice of usual Master/Slave setup for standard ATA 100/133 interface. Can't see any mention in manual or bios screens about existance of Sata interface at all! Am I missing something obvious, and yes I have the Sata jumper set correctly.

    Regards

Yup, you have to install the SATA controller drivers by hitting F6 when asked at the start of installing XP & then feeding it a floppy with said drivers later.

Also, point to note, Asus does not supply these drivers on a separate floppy, so u will have to extract them from the supplied CD onto a spare floppy urself. annoying really
