    Question Price Matching?

So now that the Ivy Bridge CPUs are out, I'm going to order the parts for my first build very soon.

It would be easier to order all the parts from one place, but Scan are only the cheapest for 2 parts.

I am going to be spending around £900.

So do Scan price match? or do they offer any student discounts (I'm studying at Uni) or bulk discounts?

    Thank you!

I am pretty sure SCAN don't do price matching and I dont think they offer student discounts either, but i dont work for SCAN so dont quote me on that.

I once found a 120mm fan (Coolermaster I think) cost more at Scan then at Novatech, I told Scan about it and they put it on the "Today's deals" and lowering the price.

I've been shopping at Scan since 2008, but I've never heard about something like this before. You can always send an email and ask them directly.

I am sure they will do something if your definition of 'bulk' and SCAN's match....

Please raise a query with the link to the site''s where you have seen the products cheaper and we will look into this.

    Re: Price Matching?

Where's the other place you were looking at buying it from? Might be that they're a bit dodgy and it's worth paying the extra few quid to get good customer service. I saw a CPU I was after on sale on google shopping but when I clicked on the site it looked like it wasn't legit and the only contact number was a mobile, so for the sake of saving 1-2% on the part I'm not sure it's worth the stress.
