Which would be better DisplayPort or HDMI to a DVI Adapter?

Depends what you going to be using for, if you using one monior then just use the Display Port.

So for a single monitor a DisplayPort to DVI Adapter is better than a HDMI to DVI Adapter ?

I don't believe there really is any difference. I personally always use HDMI to DVI, but that's only because I have the cable.

You can get a HDMI to DVI cable for a couple of quid on Amazon, hasn't ever given me any trouble. Agree with the above poster

Doesn't make any difference. I use both in my laptop so I can get a dual monitor setup.
