Sandisk Extreme 240GB SSD

For some reason the price of the above SSD has jumped from £118 to £152 in a matter of days on Scan's website. Is the price rise to keep in line with similarly sized drives or some other reason?

Still deliberating over SSD but at £150 mark there are bigger drives around such as Samsung's 830.

Keep an eye on Samsung prices as they are set to fall quickly as the newer 840 series are now being introduced. In fact, if you had checked Amazon this morning you could have got it for only £116, but it has gone back up again now.

NAND costs have increased so you will see all SSD pricing increasing, affecting all manufacturer's.

Big jump though given the price previously was way lower and other suppliers sold this for around the now current price on Scan's website. Will keep an eye out on price drops.
