Hi,

I received an email from Scan on 17th December asking me to fill in an nvidia survey and I would receive a free copy of Batman Arkham City within 7 days. I completed the survey the same day and have not heard anything since and wondered if you guys are able to help at all please?

I called Scan last night and was told it was an error on their part and the email went out to people who had GTX cards and should have only been the people with standard GT cards and they are not willing to honor the game for people with GTX cards. Not happy that I was not informed of the error and had to call to chase myself but at least I have an answer.

Pretty rubbish of them to not at least notify those affected by their error. Disappointing as well that they are deciding not to honor it given it was their error. That sort of behaviour can certainly alienate people in this day and age, next time I purchase some kit I certainly won't be automatically going straight to them as I always have done, I'll be shopping around.

I too had the same email with an NVIDIA 550TI am I entitled to the game?

Unfortunately not as that is a GTX card rather than a GT. It is only the cheaper lower range cards.

Well, I publicly retract my earlier comments, I received an email earlier honouring the offer, albeit upgrading Batman Arkham City to Assassins Creed III, ironically I have already purchased Assassins Creed III 2 weeks ago!! :-) I'm not that fussed though to be honest, it was more the principle of the matter.
So well done to Scan & Nividia
