    AMD Opterons on Scan Site?

    Does anyone know if the Opterons (specifically the retail 246, ref code LN6337) on the Scan site are 0.13u or 0.09u (the newer E4 stepping with SSE3)?

    The product title or description have no details on which generation of chip they are listing

    I'm hoping and would've thought they would be the newer 0.09u (E4) chips, as they are available in the UK ( sell them). I'd like to order with Scan as I'm placing a large order for a variety of other parts.

    Anyone have any info - Anyone from Scan here able to check?

    Sorry but LN6337 is not currently in stock so unfortunately I cannot get 1 from the warehouse to check this for you at the present time.

    Sorry for any inconvenience.

    Hi thanks for the quick responce.

    I spoke to your sales team earlier today to check availability on the bits I want to order;

    LN10984 - 256MB XFX PCI-E GF7800GTX - Coming in today
    LN10512 - Tyan K8WE - Coming in today
    LN6337 - AMD Opteron 246 - ordered on demand, couple of days
    LN11654 - SuperMicro SAT2-MV8 - ordered on demand, couple of days

    As the Opteron's need to be ordered in, is there any way you can request the newer revision from your supplier/distributor - Vadim have been selling these for a while, so I don't think it should be a problem, if they can get them your supplier should have them.

    The code is OSA246BLBOX (as apposed to the one scan have listed OSA246BOX which is an older part.)
