Any chance scan could source more 939 x2 cpus?

How about the 3000 series of socket 775 intel xeon cpu's? They are of slightly higher quality then the e6000 series c2d.
never heard of them tbh
Theres a whole range of reasons why they could have them really.
1) They might ordered more when the processors were available meaning that they still have stock left, whereas all ours have sold out.
2) They might have different suppliers to us so they've been able to get some of the last few knocking about
As such 939 is nearly dead as the boards are getting practically impossible to source so there's no real point of people looking to go to 939 when AM2 might work out cheaper as some of the DDR2 is cheaper than DDR.
Arr thanks for the explanation
But I was thinking of the people who still are on S939 and would just like a CPU upgrade, as I for one would like a FX60 or a X2 4800 as wee sort of people are not going to upgrade to C2D or AM2 for the sake of it
or unless your going to buy back my hardware and then I'll go to C2D
It would be cool if scan could sell some of that sound proofing. Alaska sell some and some more RAM brands but I know thats not going to happen.
