Hi guys, im probably going to be using Scan for a machine upgrade in the next couple of weeks which is going to few quid. I worked it out on the Scan website and its going to cost around £10 for delivery. I was reading through the fee carriage rules awhile back and it seemed that as the price of items was over £20 I would not be able to use the free carriage offer
"SCAN have not yet set a minimum order value, but we’re hoping that people will not abuse this offer and order items of a value lower than say £20."
But when I looked at the Scan part of the msg board earlier today someone was advised to order a new CPU which would probably cost over a £100 using the free delivery. Would I be breaking the rules if used the carriage offer to get my parts? (its going to be a largish order but scan are the only place I can get everything from) or should I just pay the delivery charge?. I spose what I am asking is the £20 order value set out in the sprit of participation referring to the carriage costs or amount spent on parts?, to me it looks like that latter but after reading comments left by other people I am a bit unsure. Hope that makes sense and someone can put me straight. Cheers
