    a8n prem and new x2 3800

    Hi gang,

    I have just bought an a8n prem and x2 3800 and wondering if i will be able to just put this chip and use it without any troubles?

    It should work fine, only older BIOS revisions didnt have support for the newer 939 chips I believe

    so do the ones from scan have the new bios?

    I should think so, I asked a fairly similar question a few months back this year and I think the "change over" was occuring where they had new and old stock, so I held off for a bit, you should be fine, but I'd wait for one to confirm to make sure

    Hi,

    Yes they have the lastest BIOS and should take the X2 out of the box no problems.
