Just a quick question:

Any idea when you're going to be recieving the above mobo? I'm building a PC for a friend and, typically, this is the final part

He was told end of the week, so I just thought I'd get an update.

I am the actual customer to which this thread refers.

I placed the order on the 01.12.2005. Ive paid for the mobo along with a significant purchase of other parts that we have already received.

I was assured that i would receive the mobo as soon as your next delivery was due in which at the time of placing my order i was told approximately 2 weeks.

When i called this week i was told that you were expecting them to arrive this week and that mine would be sent out.

Obviously i have no reason to assume anything different will happen but your post did concern me.

I would be obliged if you would confirm mine will be sent out as soon as they arrive as my purchase is classed as a pre order/ back order.

I understand Lokkers has pm'd you with the invoice number but i can do so if you require that again.

If you PM me your invoice number i will check on the status of your order and check were abouts you are on the list, and how many we are looking to get in, as this in the thing, we dont know how many we will recieve, but like i said if you PM the invoice number i can looking into in greater detail.

Our Suppliers have no stock so it is pointless me giving you a guess as to when they are going to come in because if i guess and and its wrong then it will lead to more annoyed people, so when i get some solid info as to when the delivery will be i will update this thread straight away.

Thanks mate, much appreciated. Steve i did send you a pm with my order info to check what position i am in the back order. When sending the PM my laptop blue screened and i dont know if it was sent properly. It appears in my outbox but i just wanted to check it sent.

Well we have just managed to source the mobo from elsewhere. A disappointment as Scan have always been very good when I have used them in the past. My constructive criticism in this case is that we werent kept informed as too developments with regards the ETA of the order (having been told end of last week the previous week when the order was placed). When my friend had spend in the region of £1.8k on parts with Scan, he certainly expected more.

But fair play to Scan, they have a forum for this kind of thing and I'd like to think they will take this criticism on board.
