If you don't mind paying the extra, then deffinatley get the GTX 512 just because of the extra boost in performance.

If you're running in 1280x1024 there is absolutely no need for a GTX 512MB, and little need for even a GTX

Also this should probably go in HardStuff

TBH, i would go a GT and a RAM upgrade (if you only have 1GB) or some other upgrade.

Authough my mates dad just ordered SLI GTX 512mb and he only has a 19" job lmao

Getting the gtx 512 would mean that you won't need to buy a new gfx card for quite a while though

The 512mb is awesome - but really doesn't kick into gear until you get to high res like 1680 x 1050 (well thats the widescreen).

I consider my 512mb as a great investment but maybe if ya wanna spend a little less for relative performance - get a x1800xt 512mb??
