Just wondering if this is SLI ready? I remember reading that when they first came out there was only one PCI-E Connecter but then Hiper said they would from then on be realeasing them with the other PCI-E connector.

Any ideas? I know its out of stock but i could get the red one.

i just recieved a couple of blue 580w modulars, both box's are marked sli ready on the outside.. if that helps

Well hopefully cause it mentions nothing about dual pci-e connecters in the specs.

ok.. just check my 580w modular (red) box.. from what i can see, it has 1 pci-e modular cable (connects psu to pci-e directly), and 1 pci-e converter bable (takes 2 molex inputs and outputs 1 pci-e).

so im guessing, all they did to make the psu sli ready/compatible is add that 2nd converter cable

Yep same with mine (I got a black one a month or so ago). I absolutely love this PSU, it's awesome quality, although I think the lack of 2 independant SLI cables is a very slight drawback. It could get a bit messy running two molex cables to the convertor cable, especially when you consider that being tidy is one of the main features of this PSU! I've no doubt it'd work absolutely fine though.
