Can I put my own hard drive in this?

    http://www.scan.co.uk/products/produ...oductID=374608

I need a backup drive for a laptop, something that connects via USB. This looks ideal.

However... I also have a few IDE hard drives from a broken old PC, and I'd like to recover the files from those drives & burn to DVD.

Can I take the drive out of LN13050 and put my own in? Once that is done, I'd like to use this as my backup device.

    Please advise!

Unfortunately it would void the warranty if you removed the drive.
