    Info for Dawn and/or webteam

I just called up enquiring about your Antec P180, and to see if it is infact the latest P180B model.

The confusion lies in the picture you guys feature. There have been two black models, the P180 SPCR edition (which is what the text describes the case as), that features SPCR branding.

And the new P180B, which does not feature such branding but is black.

Dawn said she'd go check the warehouse and let me know (she hasn't got back to me yet )

I did some investigating of my own, and thought I would shop around and see what other suppliers sell the "P180B" model. So I went over to shopping.com search engine, and did a search for "P180" - which in theory, should show up both the older P180s and P180Bs.

    Indeed it does - http://uk.shopping.com/xFS?KW=p180&FN=PC+Cases&FD=1718

"Shock horror! P180B!" I thought to myself, "Identical price to that of Scan also!" *clicks*

    http://uk.shopping.com/xPO-Antec_CAS...P180B_BLACK_RT

    It is Scan!

Just thought I'd let you know, as there appears to be some mass confusion here, and I want this for tomorrow

Edit: Dawn got back to me, I was told this is indeed not the P180B version, I still think this should be made more clear. I have placed my order

So, the case arrived this morning. All boxed as the P180B, clearly states so all over the box.

I open it up, and it is the older P180 SPCR - the door is likely to warp, and it has no PCI blanking ventilation holes.

    Double-u tee eff?

You do indeed advertise as the SPCR, but it comes boxed as the P180B, I was told - after some confusion that it is indeed the P180B - but what I have recieved is the P180 SPCR - omgwtfbbq.

Sorry for the confusion , I got told it was the 180B and the box stated it was the 180B which is possibly where the warehouse got the information for Dawn who then asked me to PM you

Which is completely understandable and is of no issue to me; I can't see my room getting so cold that the door on the front is going to warp, and the PCI slot ventilation will probably just let more dust in when its off and the VGA fan mount is oversized and gets in the way, I probably wont bother using it

However, what I do see as being an issue is that the SPCRs are being shipped in P180B boxes - is this down to Antec, and if so - wtf?

Indeed - all the SPCR's we have are in just normal P180B boxes without any special markings to distinguish between the 2. This is possibly the first case (pun alert!) of the contents being different I've seen . Maybe it's to cut down on costs and to stop all those tree's being cut down.

Our Supplier was confused to say the least as well.
