Items more expensive on today only?

Just noticed that the core 2 duo's are on the today only section of the website. What I don't understand is why the prices for the E6600 and X6800 cpu's are over £10 more expensive on the today only page than on the normal product pricing page. Examples:

TODAY ONLY PRICES:
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 - £237.34
Intel Core 2 Duo X6800 - £766.10

NORMAL PRICES:
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 - £227.59
Intel Core 2 Duo X6800 - £757.86


I mean correct me if I'm wrong, but I always thought the whole purpose of the today only section of scan was to take certain items and have them at a cheaper price.

Seriously, what gives?

Could be an error as you suggest, or it could be the purchasing price of the item that could drive it up slightly.

This means there has been a price update on the item after the TO page has been created, this offer will be removed shortly and the item can be ordered through the standard part of the web site at the new Retail price.

This sometimes happens as our site is updated so often
