1Gb XFX 7950GX2 or 512MB EVGA 7900GT graphic card

I am about to buy a graphic card from scan to complete my build, and I am torn between (1) 1Gb XFX 7950GX2, PCI-E (x16), Mem 1200 MHz, GPU 500 MHz and (2) 512MB EVGA 7900GT KO, PCI-E (x16), Mem 1500 MHz, GPU 560 MHz(all from Scan)


Third choice is the 512Mb Leadtek 7900GTX, PCI-E (x16), Extreme, Mem 1660 MHz.

Heat should not be a problem (I hope) as i am using 2*Zalman CNPS 9500 and the Case is a Lian Li PC-V1200B plus. Mobo is Supermicro H8DCE with two opty 248's.


Any suggestions or advice are welcome.

Depends solely on what you are going to be using your computer for, if its for gaming all three cards are excellent choices, however personally i would go with the evga, lifetime warranty is always welcome on any electronic product for me, providing this version has it as most of the evga line up do. If your after max frame rates and really high hdr and af then by all means go for the xfx 1gb 7950gx2. Leadtek is also a gd brand but imho i would go for the evga solely based on if it has the lifetime warranty or not.
All 3 cards however are very good choices so you wouldnt go wrong with either, however the ati x1900xt is also a good choice atm, or if you can wait the ati x1950xt is right around the corner and will be sure to wow you even more.

My needs are mainly storage, video editing and some gaming. I can't sli Ati cards and my mobo dosent support crossfire, hence the need for nvidia cards.

Thanks for the advice it seems that 512MB EVGA 7900GT KO, PCI-E (x16), Mem 1500 MHz, GPU 560 MHz is my choice, unless i can find a better price elsewhere.
