Antec 900 case stocking?

I have been informed by Antec the new revision is yet to arrive in the UK - expected arrival in stores is going to be the last week of November, or so I have been told by Antec's PR company.

HEXUS will be getting the new revision in for review as soon as it is feasibly possibly.

They will be revision 2 as that is why there was a wait in these cases as they were recalled due to some Graphics cards in SLi would not fit in so they were re-designed. I'm buying one today!

Fan speed question.

If I buy a fan speed controler unit to fit on the front, can I connect the fans up with it? - I know each fan has a little rubbish switch control on it. But can this be removed/changed to be used on a contoler unit?

I purchased this case from scan on 27/11/2006 soley based on the above quote, hence I was expecting a revision 2.
I've being so busy over Christmas and new year that I've not had time to transfer a second system over to the case, untill yesterday. Unfortunatlely, after a couple of hours fitting everything into the case I notice that Scan have sent me a revision 1 as there is not enough room around the DVI sockets for my monitor fit. As you can imagine I'm a little peeved to say the least considering you stated "they will be revision 2" before I made my order, not to mention it'll take me another couple of hours removing all my hardware from the case. Considering the wasted hours of my life which could have easily been prevented had someone done their home work correct I don't believe that I'm being unreasonable asking for Scan to ship me a revision 2, and collect this completely useless revision 1 in the process. Although to be honest I would prefer to pay a bit extra for a completely different case to the Antec.

Paul, could you please tell me where Scan stand on this matter?

It is not unknown for a manufacturer to send a mixed batch unfortunately - so perhaps there was a mixture of both versions. But I'm sure one of the returns team will be able to assist, if possible, during opening hours tomorrow.

Sorry to drag this one up from the depths, but I have some very good news.

After speaking with Antec today they have advised that if you have one of the 900 series 1 there is now a swop out kit for anyone with the DVI issues.

Even if you don't currently have the problem, but with a future upgrade you might Antec have advised you should contact their customer support who will sort you out with the necessary kit to enable future compatability.

Good on Antec for taking this on, accepting and dealing with this issue in a professional manner.
