AMD Price Cuts?

I just read a post on the Inquirer about AMD emergency price cuts

Any ideas what these price cuts will be ? (i.e what processors)

and will they be in effect on scan?

AMD prices are cheap enough, I see no need for them to lower the prices straight after a new core is delivered, just rumors I bet

Basically £10 939 X2's from what i've seen. Scan can barely seem to get them in(like most places). So dont expect anything more than a few quid change.

£10 off is that? Thats pretty nifty, that means a 100 or so more GB's if your building an entire PC

I thought the price cuts were in the form of instant rebates. I've never heard of those in the uk before...
