    SATA DVD Writer

    Do Scan stock any SATA DVD writers?

    I have been advised that they do but cannot seem to find them.

    Certainly reduce the cabling space at least

    IDE performance on the optical drives are painfull.

    Im probably gonna jump on this bandwagon, gets me past the bad performance as well as the awfull IDE placement, cant complain at those prices

    Well I will put in the order when I reorder my GFX card so should hopefully be able to let you know soon.

    At that price m8, if you have an AB9 mobo its got to be a must purchase

    got a P5b deluxe, but will still get one - what are the performance gains over IDE?

    im not sure if there is any performance gains really, ive got the samsung plugged into a p5wdh and my nec 7173a seems to burn around 30secs on average faster.

    But for airflow and general neatness its a god send and there finally cheap
