I admit, it is, but with current limitations on boards (and sometimes OS) its still gunna be a lot quicker than limited size memory & traditional hard disk...
Was jus a suggestion, anyhow.
Another FYI I have noticed Newegg currently have listed reasonably priced 2 x 2gb kits by G.Skill and Geil. At higher speeds than the Crucial modules as well. Whether you can get them over here yet though I don't know.
might have a gander - get my brother to send them over
hmmm 235.00 thats pretty damn good..
now @ 189.00ish

They've started to filter through now so we should hopefully start seeing more packs arrive.
Sorry to hijack this thread but is there such a thing as having too much RAM in a PC. I was thinking about putting 4GB into my PC running XP then Vista in the future but we had problems at work once putting 4GB into a server as some program didn't like that much RAM.
that prog wasn't writtern right then

There's also such as thing as not understanding a problem.
The reason you had problems with 4GB is down to 32Bit architecture, not Microsoft, not bad programming, not too much RAM. It's a simple physical limitation of running a 32bit OS. Once you move over to 64bit all will work fine.
Yes I did ask a question if you read my first post and I don't really appreciate replies like that. If you can't reply without being an idiot then don't reply at all. It was a simple question which didn't need a wisecrack reply. Anyway lets just call it quits on this.
