Which microsoft wireless desktop?

I'm in the market for a wireless desktop and to be honest I'm completely confused as to which I should be looking at, my preferances in design are:

• Simple design - two button optical mouse with scroll whell which acts as the third button when pressed
• Prefer a soft feel scroll wheel (don't like heavy resistance and definate 'clicking' into position
• Must be black
• Prefer standard keyboard layout (not ergonomic)
• Ideally under £30
• I like Microsoft products
• I prefer 'light' feeling mice, but I prefer them to be a decent size (medium i would say)

I've been looking at the Microsoft Wireless Desktop 1000 from Ebuyer at £21 and it's got reasonable reviews. But the model number suggests this is really old now?? There are many other versions all the way upto 8000. Can someone recommend an equivalent Logitech or our brand I may be able to consider?
