    Thin and light notebook

I'm looking for a Thin and light notebook.. something with these specs..

    - 9~15" screen.
    - 1.5ghz+ serious processor (not intel atom or such)
    - 1.5kg or less
    - 2hr+ battery.

    - Price? at this point I just want to see all that's available in this market.

    thank you !!

    Re: Thin and light notebook

toshiba r500 would seem to fit the bill

    and only 1kg

i doubt youd get a 15" lappy under 1.5kg, most you could hope for would be a 13.3 inch such as the lenovo x300, macbook air or voodoo envy.

Plenty of options in the 11" or 12" range tho

    Re: Thin and light notebook

This laptop pretty much does it all. It's horridly overpriced like the air and voodoo but is the best notebook I've ever heard of lol

all very expensive.. I guess it's just a matter of time before nettops evolve and take over this niche... for documents and video I guess they already have..

The Advent 4211 is decent if you want a netbook.

nice.. the eeepc is confusing with so many SKUs listed in the shops.

Advent 4211 is just a rebadged MSI wind... which is ok.

    Re: Thin and light notebook

Pricey -but the Voodoo Envy 133 does satisfy all of your requirements. About 1.5 kg and .7 inches thick. 13.5 inch screen also - which is on the larger end of the scale for that weight.

Also -it's brand new so it will definetley stand out in a crowd. Pre-ordered units just started shipping this week.

Mmmm, I'd get a MacBook Air, but then I love Macs ... I'm actually on an Air now!
