Scan - delivery SMS

Just like to say that I'm impressed with Scan's delivery service at the moment. I've used Scan for around 10 years, and their CityLink delivery service used to wind me up something rotten - I always ended up going to the depot as they just never delivered on the day they'd said, used to sneak up to the front door and silently slip a card through the letterbox... Not anymore. Scan seem to have got a delivery service that delivers. They send an SMS on delivery day saying what time the van will show up (within a ~2hour window), and it was even *true* in my last two deliveries! This is how everyone should do delivery services, no excuses. Very good value at £0 thanks to Hexus forums.

Yes the delivery system that scan are currently using is amazing. My latest order was dead on time and with in the hour of devilery envelope. Really useful around this time of year as not being stuck in is very useful.

Ordered some bits for my mum and she was mega impressed with all the emails, texts etc that Scan send to keep you posted. And how it arrives when they say....

Pity my local depot ALWAYS has me down for a 3:30-4:30 delivery. Would be nice if they rotated it so I had a CHANCE to get a first thing delivery!!
