Pentium M laptop at tesco under £400

I saw today that tesco are selling off their discontinued lines with 20% off
but actually its works out more than that there was a £575 one for £398

Its not top of the range but its a pentium m and not celeron which you cant
find for that money else where i dont think.

256 MB ram ddr2, 40 GB hdd, 15 inch widescreen etc.

take a look

Well they have all sold out at my local tesco they were gone in a day and they had about 6
i think one was 398 (pentium m) and there was a better one for £470 i think.

They were all acer laptops.

Theres a £383 one but thats a pentium m celeron the 398 was a better deal

The 383 is an acer aspire widescreen 3613WLMI which apparently has a crystalbrite
screen i think. the barcode number is 4718235453480 and tesco product number is
053482808. These ones are apparently coming in again from sunday at my local
but i dont know if they are going to be at that price or not.

heres the one i think it is,

My local tescos (Croydon) don't stock laptops, the nearest place is Purley which is a trek!

ja3h tesco do customer orders and it doesnt have to be for things they stock.
take the numbers with you and you can order it. Check the price though.

Mine didn't ahve any of the 4021s in stock, can I ask my local to order one?

I think that is the one i saw at £398 (doesnt have the crystalbrite screen)
It said discontinued on the label so i guess what they had have now gone.
All laptops they do are or were 20% off thats the thing when i asked they didnt
know how long it was going to last. Without a number like the ones i wrote earlier
they cant find the product.

The 20% off laptops runs out on the 14th of feb 2006 at midnight so you only have today and tomorrow.

Know someone whos been working at tesco more than a year? well they can get a
discount of 10% bringing it to £344.
They are in now i got mine today.

Just a word of warning for Acer products. Their customer service is non-existance. It took them 3 months to send them a replacement powerpack. Luckily ebay stores can solve that one easily.

Build quality on my 5024WLMi is good and so is the lovely crystalbright screen... just DO NOT touch it as it loves keeping finger prints.

In short, do not rely on an Acer laptop as your only solution.
