    What CPU?

Soon thinking of making a new PC... Not sure what CPU to go for, budget is about £100

Dual Core? Single? What socket is the best? Am2? Too much choice these days :-|

    Thanks in advance, Chris

If you can push to £130 your best bet is a C2 e6300

Id go for a Conroe/Allendale E6300 personally, be worth saving another £50 for a supreme CPU, capable of 3.6ghz+

Failing that a budget choice would be an AM2 AMD Dual Core.
