    Review :: Virtua Fighter 5 – PS3

    In amongst all that frantic button pounding and, in my case, extremely frequent swearing, is a fighting game so finely tuned that if it were an engine, it’d purr. If it were a girl it’d be Kiera Knightley desperate for some horizontal jogging.

    Yep, this our review of Virtua Fighter 5 on the PS3.

    You best be careful Nick, there's a fine line between infatuation and stalking

    Look's a good game but it's not making me think to go out and purchase a PS3 anytime soon.

    She just doesn't know what she's missing...

    But you're right, I need to find a new bird... I did think of Chun Li but thought that might be inappropriate for a Virtua Fighter review.

    About the bit with the rumble pad.. I think its a valid sort of option for casual players..

    I think VF should have left an OPTION for the dual shock to be left on..

    However, I would stress that when ur anywhere near wanting to master such a complex game as the VF series, rumble is the last thing u would really use.. the whole thing messes all ur timing up..

    This game is best played with a joystick system.. just like the Tekken series..

    Get 2 joysticks, get some VF friendly pals along.. instant fun..

    But the PS3 has NO rumble option... the six-axis doesn't have it... which was my point. It was a criticism of the PS3 not the game.

    Looks good, but never really seen the other VF games, but while I will accept it might be the screen shots, the gfx didnt seem that impressive to me esp when you compare them to DoA4.
