    Microsoft trying its best to bring XP to the XO laptop

    Not content with seeing the $100 XO laptop running only Linux, Microsoft state "we are hard at work" on bringing its OS to the device.

    Looks like someone at Microsoft has realised that, although the widespread adoption of the Linux-based XO laptop won't cost it any lost sales, it would have the effect of reducing their worldwide market share of the OS market, which wouldn't look good in their annual reports!
