I loved DAoC. But my reason for eventually dropping it was why I drop all MMORPG's; pretty much forced group grind to progress in the PvE game. Probably why I haven't bothered with any MMO since WoW 3 or 4 years ago.
Judging by this article, the formula should more or less mirror DAoC, which more or less mirrors every other MMO (except this has the benefit of the RvR at least) in which case I'm not even going to bother getting it as I don't feel like playing an MMO for merely 3 or 4 months. I want one that I can sink my teeth into and stick with for quite a while.
