    You only get to address half of it. And your applications have sod all RAM to play with. I'd like to see an application that will actually use that much video memory exclusively.

    Medical imaging is often done at a resolution that allows you to render separate cells in an organism. Rendering a medium-sized bone at this resolution could take up a few dozen gigabytes. Oh, and I'm pretty sure you'd like a decent 64-bit OS to do that
