Be fair, the process segmentation thing is neat and in theory a good defense against crashes
Of course, thats not taking away from Chrome being a good browser or otherwise, it's just a simple fact that they haven't developed their own rendering engine, so they don't need to debug that part of it. Hence the fast development.Originally Posted by directhex

Tried it, didn't see much to pull me away from Opera so i uninstalled it tbh. Seems more like an excercise in marketing that something anybody really needed.

I'm waiting for a Linux port which is actually usable. Some people, especially google, are dreadful for taking cross-platform code & breaking it to be locked down to one arch/os

I only use it as my "other" browser tbh, and I really hate the way it doesn't prompt you when you press close and a download hasn't finished so I have to redownload whatever was pending!
Yeah, using Chrome as my default browser. Works for most things I use!
Which i really like for security, my internet banking session been different process from my "research", as standard without the user having to think about such things makes sense.
Problem is adobe flash craps it right up. Fail.

Adobe are incapable of making properly coded and tested software anymore.

Flash seems to work OK for me in Chrome?
