It's good to see the BBC are actually ahead of the curve and waiting for others to catch up with regards to rights etc.
They are also torn between maximum compatability and best use of technology. I guess thats the problem when you are pioneering something like this as a publicly funded organisation. This is the same as the radio streams when they launched. RealAudio was chosed because at the time, it was the best solution for dial up streaming. And now they can't just ditch is because that would break the availability for some existing users.
Doesn't work on the G1 Android phone, tried with both the built in browser and Opera mini. Will let you watch the news summaries but everything is a no go atm.

Hmm
Doesnt work with the Iphone either
Doesn't work on my Nokia E71....
So what the hell does it work with. Did BBC just blow this out their back sides to get some publicity.
BBC mobile web site is pretty poor compared to the like of MSN mobile. Only annoying thing is my E71 doesn't work with the videos on MSN Mobile.
keeps saying my HTC kaiser is not compatible, with or without wifi connected.
If windows mobile is not compatible, what is?
I do know everything, just not all at once. It's a virtual memory problem.
I was about to test it on my TyTN II with Win6.1 and Windows Mobile Internet Explorer, but it can't get a good enough wireless signal and keeps dropping the connection.
I get further with the BBC Iplayer than I do with this

Doesn't work on my iPhone lol. Could be because I'm using the iPhone os 3.0 beta but not sure
It's a beta right? Perhaps it's just completely broken right now.
