it faster than a 3850 agp card? Why no ddr 3?
why put more expensive g/ddr3 on a card where the agp bus probably wont benefit from it?
still nice to see theres still upgrade paths for those ancient agp setups, shame i got rid of my last agp board 5 years ago, otherwise i could have had a oober super athlon64 with 4xxx series gpu! wouldnt that be great /sarcasm
Depends entirely what you're using it for
Many games still don't utilise 2+ cores, So high clocked P4 / Athlons with a 4650 would still provide acceptable framerates on many games at 1280 x 1024. And if your computer is mainly used for web browsing and office tasks but you like to occasionally fire up some modern games with decent IQ at the native res of a 15" or 17" monitor, this would be a lot cheaper than upgrading the entire computer to something with the same basic day-to-day performance just for a few extra fps...
My motherboard has an AGP slot and can take AM2 processors
And all AM3 processors are backwards compatible with AM2, non?
