I've tried applying this update to my Samsung 64GB MLC flash drive. It has one of the supported FW revisions, but the update tool doesn't see the drive or try to update it.
According to some forum posts I've seen, Samsung will be releasing a FW update for their own branded drives early in 2010. I'm guessing that the Corsair customers are being used as guinea pigs!
Doesn't change that Corsair still lag behind on core performance specs for SSDs, all TRIM does is make them even vaguely competitive:

good job the samsungs firmware is still beta then , and as far as i know the first one they have released to public , the indilinx drives have had many updates
either way none matter to me as i will be replacing mine with one of the crucial m225 drives
Samsung have release the new TRIM supporting firmware for their MLC SSD drives...

I have already upgraded my drive and copied the data back.
