Awesome, really cant wait for this. With over 400 locations and 70 main quests along with 90 side quests...it's gonna be BIG.
I'm so looking forward to this it's sad. The graphics look pants again but I realy didn't notice after 140 hours of playing Fallout 3 so no big woop!
Have you been sent preview code then Steve? If so then you're my best mate you are...
me and my Vault-Tec bobble head are excited!

nice pic! Does the bobble head only come in the limited edition?
Nice Zap.. If only I was able to get away with game related paraphernalia around the house! I have to keep it to the odd artbook
+1
I'm actually thinking of taking some time off work to play it. I think I need therapy!
Also - 140 hours...? Is that all? (says the man that recently spent *ages* hunting Nuka Cola Quantum to complete the 'last' unfinished quest). I think I've done over 200 now with all the expansion packs bar Zeta and all the side quests I can find. I keep being tempted to double check my completed quests against the FAQs on gamefaqs but I'm not sure I dare in case I've missed loads.
I was never as hooked on Fallout 3, as I was Oblivion. I seemed to spend all night some nights playing oblivion, but the same never applied to Fallout 3. I've only just got around to trying to finish all the Fallout 3 quests now in anticipation of New Vegas.

Two full playthroughs of 70+hrs each, one with all the DLC and the other without. By the end it was getting too familiar & I was getting far too powerful so the fun kinda dwindled (but only a little!)
I decided NOT to chase all of the quests as it was taking over my life a little & so I sold it to avoid temptation. I did find a few new quests in the standard game when I played through that I'd missed the first time which was nice. As for the DLC, it was 'ok' but only BoS fitted well with the game I think, the others were somewhat disjointed & don't even get me started on Zeta!
I rely on getting hooked to complete games. I first started Fallout 3 Xmas 2008 (on the 360), but gave up once January exams came around, tried again Xmas 2009 (on the 360), and decided this August to get it for the PC with all the DLC, and have been working my way slowly through it all. I think part of my lack of patience with Fallout 3 was because I had it on the 360, I'm not a fan of the FPS aspects on consoles, whereas running around with a Sword and shield in Oblivion felt more natural on the 360 compared to the PC. (I have both F3 and Oblivion both on the 360+PC )

after playing fallout 3 I think I might go and play fallout 1 and 2, has anyone played them, are they any good?
Fallout 3 was my first ever experience with this series, but I was properly impressed it's fair to say. Ended up buying all the DLC's. Looking forward to this in the big way.
Yeah - I know what you mean. I started leaving all the big guns and decent armour at 'home' in Megaton as it's just too easy later on (Chinese Stealth Armour + unexpected head shots). Looking forward to starting again with a weak character in New Vegas. I suspect it will be a bit of a shock. Not sure what if anything they are doing in terms of carrying things over / customising things based upon your Fallout 3 save.
I foolishly took the explorer perk that shows you every location on the map when I completed the main game. I'd done no more than a third if memory serves.
Yeah - everyone says Zeta is shocking so I haven't bothered. I quite enjoyed point lookout though.
