Halo Reach in 5th position with a Hexus score of 97%?? Are you guys ashamed to call this game the best of the year because of all the Halo haters??

Certainly seems that way to me ... as it has become quite trendy to bash Halo and COD nowadays I think it just isn't cool enough for Hexus tbh.

Agree with god of war 3 being highly regarded. (at no2) was my game of 2010 (with some indie pc games M+B Warband/Amnesia as close second/third)

Not at all. This is my personal favourite game of the year and I wrote the review. The rating is how I rated it. However, the final 10 was decided among a panel of 5.Personally, I would have had Mass Effect II then Halo Reach, but we discussed and came to a decision based on what we all thought.

Halo and COD are still cool.. but they put out essentially the same twitch based corridor shooter in a newer shinier package once a year, great games no doubt, but I hardly think it's fair to put them above titles with some originality because they're good at what they do. Mass Effect 2 or Red Dead Redemption would've been my calls for this year for that very reason.

Shame Heavy Rain didn't get a mention though

bioshock 2 was rubbish. major stepback, though no.3 does look very very good

Yeah Bad Company 2 is a pretty obvious omission in my opinion, that game has probably the best multiplayer of any game this year. Plus they keep expanding it with map packs, and now vietnam dlc as well. Should have been in the top 10 for sure
