Whoa Whoa Whoa,
35yo Wil.i.am....35 YEAR OLD To help reach the kids....? Also, "It's imperative that Intel and our innovations are kept in front of the global youth culture that embraces new devices and new forms of communication and entertainment." Are they not already doing this? Last i checked Intel was rocking the earth and all economies.
Words fail me.
Can we look forward to the new CherylBridge next year?
My HTPC: Linky
Intel have money to burn apparently. There's a shocker.

Shame they didn't go for Hot Chip during the Prescott days.
I don't think its a bad idea. Will.I.Am is in a music group that really has its pulse on the younger market. He's the director of creative innovation, not really anything that important pertaining to Intel's products...
It's like, Apple has successfully pushed its products by having fantastic advertising. It's time other tech companies get on the bandwagon and start pushing product towards a part of the market dominated by fads and music. Too bad Microsoft didn't think of hiring him in the same position. God, they need it.
*sigh* the very last thing the IT industry needs, is more hyperbolic marketing. If they got any more hip, and hop, and flop sweat monkey dancey about the size of their own peni.. I mean the awesomeness of their products, they'd have aneurysms en mass.
Thank god I wasn't drinking anything, otherwise would've had to clean all that mess up. Thanks, Hexus, IMMDOriginally Posted by Hexus

This has the potential to be very awkward.

I was, and had to. (sorry, closest icon to a coffee spray I could find)
Good one Hexus...
Maybe should have got Fergie instead - easier on the eyes at least, and arguably just as "relevant". Still I suppose that it'll get Intel some column inches - which I guess is the whole point.

Got to love The Register's headline - "Don't phunk with my Xeon e5620"
no need to be so nasty to them
where is the love?

It's easy, if you're a poet, to write complex verses like, 'I'm coming after you like VWXYZ.' Just think about that. It's like, 'Yo, V does come after U! That's ****ing crazy!' My mind thinks like that all the time, coming up with crazy clever metaphors and rhymery thingies." —Will.I.Am on his creative processI'm glad people like this exist. It allows me to avoid his followers more easily."We planned on being global from the very beginning. And then came the whole brand sponsorship ****. I'm all for it … I was like, 'Dude, I've always liked Dr Pepper, and they're going to let me play my music.' So **** it." —Will.I.Am on selling out
