He looks such a nice man. Wonder if he sent Steve Jobby a get well soon card?

Has someone photoshopped his left eye, looks like it's upside down when you compare it to the right.

That's all I have to say on this really. Sorry.

TBH, I don't see what's tasteless about pointing out that the dying are going to die. It may not have been respectful, but respect is earned, and a person doesn't become less deserving of scorn if all they've earned is disdain, by mere virtue of dying or being dead.

Yeah they could definitely have been a bit better in that regard. Although at least they're up to scratch on the GPL'ed sources.

Who cares about Netgear's CEO opinions to be honest.. he has as much influence as the guy in charge of a local takeaway..

He should really save his anger to why it has taken 12 years to get IPv6 on their piece of junk routers, instead of making stupid comments on Apple's stance on Flash just to show up on the news.

The reason why it's taken 12 years to get IPv6 on their routers is because nobody has demanded it. The same as every other consumer router manufacturer.

Re: News - Netgear CEO attacks Microsoft, Apple and Steve Jobs in one go

Apple icon's decision to keep Adobe's Flash away from iOS - other than the myriad of technical reasons, we assume.
Actually Pete I completely disagree with that comment.

Its odd that I do with your stuff, so I figure I'd comment in a backhanded complimentary way.

Completely untrue, the flash browsing kills battery is more about how much battery time is given over to showing adverts, or at least it should be.

I'm not saying flash is efficent, but you at least have to have it properly compared with the alternative.

The first link is also showing no sign of technical reasons why not. Its been put on andriod afterall.

Giving people the option to turn in on in the browser would harm no one, and hurt no battery life issues. I am slightly suprised jobs just dosen't put a flash on/off switch in Safari, but no he can get a press bandwagon to try and kill off a cross platform technology that delivers, for stupid games and such better use experiance for less money than dynamic html would appear to in the market place.

The fact that people buy a 'tube status app' or similar which is a full blown app, that has no schedulling to download stuff, but simply replaces the webpage shows how full of crap apple are when they talk about HTML.
