I don't really understand how anyone could prefer to communicate electronically rather than face to face. But in college I saw people sitting physically next to each other, communicating via facebook...
I think BT should upgrade their infrastructure.
I miss local bt call centers

I think BT have a fair point. I see couple chatting to each other on face book when they are sat at home together in different rooms.
People are obsessed with sending emails instead of picking up the phone - worse place for this is in the work office.
Not that we can do anything about this modern habit, but it does show that when people are addicted to digital communication via a computer/smartphone - they become less capable of interacting in society.
And one knock on effect of this, is the inability to work in a work place that requires interaction with other people - therefore reducing work output - therefore likely to loose your job and let it be replaced by someone a little more mature - or foreign. ;-)
So forth, so forth.
PS - writing this while working.... :-P
if its communicating with BT, then I whole heartedly agree.
throw new ArgumentException (String, String, Exception)
So BT commissioned a report that gives a reason why we should use less bandwidth.... yes that has nothing to do with the fact BT needs massive network expansion just to catch up with current usage never mind future usage and will probably cost billions that they desperately don't want to spend any time soon due to effecting things like profit margins and share prices.

The only communication diet I am remotely interested in is a fibre-base one
