It is a very 80/90's colour scheme.....I could never use one in a windowed case.

Wonder how this compares to the Prolimatech Megahalems (God I love that name).
Perfect for an old style Ubuntu host though!
Actually the brown fans didn't really bother me - if I was using a windowed case then I'd replace them with lit or UV-reactive versions anyway - even when it means less cooling performance.
Got a D14 on my PhenomII box (following a recommendation from the folks at QuietPC) and it's proven to be a very cost-effective, quiet and efficient cooling solution.
Agree about the colour scheme. In fact, I decided against one of these in June in preference of a Black BeQuiet cooler - since I have a windowed case. A lost customer that could easily have been prevented with a Black option, in my opinion.
They could keep the same style and go with light/dark grey, which would look lovely against the silver of the heatsink itself.
I have an NH-U12P and all my case fans are Noctua. They work extremely well, with great airflow at very low noise levels. The beige/brown combo looks really odd though, especially peeking through the grilles on my Antec P180.
Personally, for price, performance, noise and aesthetics, I still love the venom voodoo
