Does it come in white ?
I really want this... but i stupidly suggested it to my flatmate and hes getting it. We cant have the same PC that would just be crazy talk
Looks good but a shame it doesnt have a triple grill top panel to add a triple rad on top
None in this price bracket. I was looking at this, the FT02 and the Fractal R3 as three different price points for the same end result.
Society's to blame,
Or possibly Atari.
if you want build quality, get a lian li or silvestone.
but not Corsair? Most of the reviews lead you to believe the build quality is second to none, i had no reason to doubt them. Especially when you bring the fact that their PSUs and SSDs are also well respected.
Infact narrowing it down to just those two is vastly incorrect, if you buy the right product you can also get fantastic quality from Antec, Coolermaster, Akasa and many others.
I currently own 3 "older" cases...
Lian Li v2000
Silverstone LC20
Antec P180
Of the 3, the Antec is by far the best build quality......although all 3 cases have their own issues
Main PC: Asus Rampage IV Extreme / 3960X@4.5GHz / Antec H1200 Pro / 32GB DDR3-1866 Quad Channel / Sapphire Fury X / Areca 1680 / 850W EVGA SuperNOVA Gold 2 / Corsair 600T / 2x Dell 3007 / 4 x 250GB SSD + 2 x 80GB SSD / 4 x 1TB HDD (RAID 10) / Windows 10 Pro, Yosemite & Ubuntu
HTPC: AsRock Z77 Pro 4 / 3770K@4.2GHz / 24GB / GTX 1080 / SST-LC20 / Antec TP-550 / Hisense 65k5510 4K TV / HTC Vive / 2 x 240GB SSD + 12TB HDD Space / Race Seat / Logitech G29 / Win 10 Pro
HTPC2: Asus AM1I-A / 5150 / 4GB / Corsair Force 3 240GB / Silverstone SST-ML05B + ST30SF / Samsung UE60H6200 TV / Windows 10 Pro
Spare/Loaner: Gigabyte EX58-UD5 / i950 / 12GB / HD7870 / Corsair 300R / Silverpower 700W modular
NAS 1: HP N40L / 12GB ECC RAM / 2 x 3TB Arrays || NAS 2: Dell PowerEdge T110 II / 24GB ECC RAM / 2 x 3TB Hybrid arrays || Network:Buffalo WZR-1166DHP w/DD-WRT + HP ProCurve 1800-24G
Laptop: Dell Precision 5510 Printer: HP CP1515n || Phone: Huawei P30 || Other: Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Pro 10.1 CM14 / Playstation 4 + G29 + 2TB Hybrid drive
I'd agree with this. Between my old Antec P180 and Corsair 850D, there really is no contest over which one I prefer. The Corsair is *so* noisy in comparison, which is a huge deal for me.
The Corsair has a bunch of new features (such as the hard drive caddies) going for it, and a lot more space inside to work with. But were it not for this, I'd take the P180 over it any day.
So I'm looking at this P280 eagerly!
I dont have the v200. i have a lian li pc a7010 and my mate has the antec p180 which i helped him build and the a7010 is far superior then the antec p180 case.
Each to their own though but its widely regarded that both silvestone and lian li offer the best build quality for a case
I've owned both the P182 and the Lian Li Q25 and noise wise the Antec wins hand down. No contest. Ever tried a velociraptor in a lian li case? What's barely heard in the 182 is intolerable in the Q25.
The Q25 has nice quality in the structure material and looks but that's about it.
Note that I'm disregarding other aspects of both cases since noise, quality and looks are the things that matter the most to me.
