    IE and Windows have a huge market share, so it's understandable that a huge number of people are going to try and discover exploits in this software. In my opinion Microsoft do an excellent job in preventing exploits and fixing them quickly.
    It's naive to think that a group of determined people won't eventually find a vulnerability even for the best coded software.

    So... the German Government are saying what everyone known for years? I think IE should call it a day and take Bing with it!

    As Animus has said, if Linux became the next most used OS it would too get greater attention and people would find exploits etc. Its only because most people use Internet Explorer as a browser that has gotten an unprecedented amounts of exploits/attacks against it.

    Anyway I use either Chrome or Safari depending on what I am browsing
