Capitalization is the difference between helping your Uncle Jack
off a horse and helping your uncle jack off a horse.
That's debatable.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
About time.... let's now start making decent phones and tablets using this money saved on R&D rather than wasted in the courts.
Bunch of silly children!!!
Apple products in my book have half the quality of Samsung's products and cost twice. **** logic.
This judgement makes me ashamed and embarrased to be british, this is a disgusting case of a genuine company being screwed over by a rival, as a inteligent child that got bullied and had work stolen at school, i feel for apple, i really do
This is NOT fair in any sense of the word
Every time Apple gets a lot of attention when we get to hear the lawsuits relating to the Samsung or any other companies when they make smartphones which will be similar to the body shape of the Iphone or tablet . So what its not like they are using apple os but an android os
well anyway what i am saying is i am kind of disappointed and disgusted in Apple's child's play copyright appeal .

Apple is a company that charges far too much for underpowered hardware in altogether unreliable packages. They spend more on lawyers than they do on R&D, buy out companies like Siri to stifle competition and pass off other people's innovations as their own. Furthermore, they lock down otherwise generic hardware (see 'Apple branded video cards...') with the sole purpose of charging an excess for it, because they know that their loyal sheeple will pay through the nose, thinking they're getting 'premium' and 'quality.'
Ionicle here is in danger of being mistaken for a perfect example of the misguided, blinkered cretin that buys into and blindly follows the Rotten Apple.
Now all I want is the US Samsung/Apple debacle to be resolved with a massive fine on Apple for their blatant misuse of the legal system for the only thing they actually care about: their own monetary gain.
Disgusting company.
What apple are trying to do is take down all the rival companies in the courts so they are the only real player in the market. Yes there are similarities between samsung and apple tablets but they are hardly to the point someone is going to walk out of a store with a samsung tab 'by accident'. So many other industries have been copying each others ideas since the dawn of their technological birth, yet somehow apple thinks this particular field of consumer electronics should be different?
Did apple really expect that other companies werent going to try and build similar devices to theirs? If a particular form factor is successful it is so obviously going to be copied. This isnt like copying exam questions, the galaxy tabs are still (in terms of RnD) a huge undertaking to get right.
Think of all the original (and i say that word losoely) products in the histroy of technology and tell me when it has been acceptable to patent the vague and generic idea of doing something in a certain way, instead of genuine invention and innovation.
Apple has the upper hand from being the first one past the pole, and managing to create this (imo false) impression of superior quality. That was by far enough for them to continue being the best and most successful tablet makers as long as they continued to push their product to the limits of technology. They have the money, they have the talent and the reputation... now they want the competition to just roll over and give up?
This makes me proud to be British, it stands up for old fashioned British values by telling apple they need to work harder and not just push paper if they want to win.
Quite frankly im getting sick of having to explain to apple fan bois why their perspective is narrow minded and arrogant.
Losing the case and appeal is one thing, but is there any precedent for this kind of verdict in this kind of case?
ionicle - poor bullied kid at school, that made me laugh as Apple is bullying the others...
Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!

Yes there are precedents in UK law which set down tests that Court will consider when deciding if a registered design has been copied.
From the article... "He also stated that “the issue is simply whether the accused design is too close to the registered design according to the tests laid down in the law”. "
The judge refers to the 'tests laid down in the law'.
