does that count teh tesco`s fire sale of archos 80 cobalt tablets for under £50 yesterday
I wonder if iPad owners are more likely (as a percentage of new owners) to post (aka "show off") that they have a new iPad, versus Surface, Kindle, Nexus owners...

I also have a nexus 10, and have not tweeted, facebooked or shouted at all.

LOL so that's where Apple fans are hanging out these days... There goes the chance of me ever getting a Twit account, not that I've ever come close tbh.
I was going to get a Nexus 10 for myself for xmas but ran out of money. Still going to get one in a couple weeks
100 Google Nexus 7 tweets? Just shows how useless some stats can be
Even taking this method as representative, why do this on Christmas eve rather than Christmas day?
Perhaps this shows people who asked for iPads can't be trusted to open their presents on Christmas day.
Really isn't representative of what I'm seeing at all. Yes I reckon iPad sales were higher, but most people I know baulk at the cost of an Apple tablet and have been snapping up Nexus' like they're going out of fashion. However nobody seems to tweet from their tablets at all, they're used for media consumption and FB!
Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!
goes to show, people really enjoy following the next idiot over the cliff.
I don't know whats worse, counting sales statistics by 'tweets', or the guys sending their first tweet of their devices like that.
Apple owners feel the need to post that they have their new useless toy, I got a nexus 7 for christmas and did not feel the need to tweet about it
Tweeting hell !
Samsung Tab 2 10.1 here & never Tweeted thank god !
*Sigh*. Because smugly proclaiming on Hexus that you have a Nexus and do not Tweet is better than people about twitting their joy of getting some new toy?
Why does either even matter? The former doesn't even claim to be actual sale statistics as far as I know, though having this data will allow us to see if/and how much if those statistics correlate at all. I do not see the harm in that at all. As for the later, there is obviously no harm at all. Technologically made it easier for people to go "Yay! Look what I've got for Christmas". Well, the truth is that unless the person is some kind of celebrities, no one really cares, but fortunately it's not like you get your email box bombed by such messages and can easily ignore them.I don't know whats worse, counting sales statistics by 'tweets', or the guys sending their first tweet of their devices like that.
So.. why so judgemental?

*Le Sigh*. Why so serious?
I own iPad 2 (using this right now) I love it , I'm using for gaming, videos, reading books ( to improve my reading and English ) and last taking pictures and video recording a lot with 16gb it's enough for me as I upload all the pic and videos that I recorded to my pc. I wish I had the latest iPad but to be honest iPad mini or iPad 2 is enough the latest iPads has a little improve.... My opinion. Except one that's has a better CPU.
