Nope, still a PS4 for me. The Sony conference was terrible IMO, but im sticking to my guns.
Neither. Still think I shall stick with PC gaming. Very little truly "exclusive" content on either to attract me.
Live long and prosper.
The only thing I might get out of this is the new Microsoft controller, and by get I mean it will be added to a family wishlist so if someone decides to buy it for me as a present I'll get one.
Other than that I'm not interested in spending money on next gen consoles; I am interested in the changes to game development with the hope that games make better use of available RAM on a PC.
Following the news makes for interesting reading with all the U-turns Microsoft have made, I am happy they have made them but wonder if they'll learn from these U-turns or not.
Out of interest, what is the annual spend of people who have pre-ordered these things on tech / gadgets?
I'm at about £6k so far this year, some genuinely needed for work, others just made it easier, and the GoPro was just a toy for me.
Yet I have no desire to pre-order one of these things. I'll happily wait, it won't change my life any. Yet the roomers of a 6inch RT nokia tablet have me ready to rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbishrubbish some cash.
throw new ArgumentException (String, String, Exception)
Neither until at least the first round of decent price cuts, possibly Christmas 2014.
Nope.
Still going to stick with PC gaming ^.^
The Xbox certainly is more attractive than it was, but for me the Ps4 got first dibs, and it's still imo the more attractive alternative, also the main exclusive to the Xbox, Titanfall will come to Pc anyway, so I'm fine settling with the game on the PC.
Upto £60 a game, no thanks,
Weak AMD APU, no thanks
No backwards compatibility and games like GTA5 and GT6 coming out just before new consoles, no thanks.
X1 or PS4, still neither.
..oh I just pre ordered an Xb1, looking forward to it. Liked the look of titan fall, forza and dead rising. Used to have an 360 and enjoyed having mates round to play kinect so interested in those improvements as well.
Quite positive on the new consoles really
PS4, honestly MS shoot themselfs in the foot to much from my PoV it isn't a "strength" to have to back down over DRM, they shouldn't have even thought about it in the 1st place.
and Ps3 games will come to ps4 via Gaikai streaming @keith (not til some time in 2014 tho.)
If I had to choose, PS4. But there aren't any games announced that I want to play on them yet. I have a feeling SOny will show more games just before or at launch. They just seem to be holding some things back, strategically so that MS don't do any more U-Turns. Just a guess on my part. I could be wrong.
Has there been any information on how Gaikai will work? Will you have to purchase the game again to play it or will an original disk in the drive be enough?
Changed my mind? Nope.
As things stand, and bearing in mind MS haven't changed their mind for a few days, so it must be due or overdue ...
- XBox One .... no way.
- PS4 .... maybe, but doubtful.
not getting one yet. Neither offers me enough yet to ditch my ps3 and all the games i have for it. When they drop below £250 for the console and have at least a good collection of readily available cheap pre owned games i'll consider one
My son want's one so that will be his xmas present and lately Microsoft has announced that day one Xbox's will come with a digital copy of Fifa 14 offsets around £50-£60 of the cost I would have paid out for the game anyway come xmas so makes it more attractive to me financially.
