What's the point of a "business rugged" desktablet with only 2 hours(!) of battery life?? Just give it a base and a keyboard/mouse and sell it as an AiO.

Cool Re: News - Panasonic’s 20-inch 4K Windows tablet available in November

Well at least we know it *is* possible to have 4K on a 20" monitor. So how about other manufacturers offering it to mainstream desktop prosumers?

Can't wait til 2560x1440 is classed as 'low end' and 4k is the standard

How about a 20inch 4K monitor for my desktop now that doesn't cost more than this whole tablet.
    Am I asking too much????

Interesting as a proof of concept, but as a consumer product, for me at least, of zero actual interest.

    First, how much? !!!
Second, too big. Way too big.
Third, too heavy, by quite a lot.
    Fourth, how flaming much?!

For that price I'd want more than one measly 128GB SSD.. I mean seriously, it would cost about another £70 for a 256GB one which is about 2% of the asking price!

is the GT 745M really capable of 4K. I would expect if there was some 4K video/application and not just documents etc it would have a hard time keeping smooth frames.
Also, surely if they were going to put a 4K screen on this maybe the webcam could be at-least 1080p for such a premium price?

The GT 745M handles 4K video easily which, alongside a Haswell i5/i7, makes it effectively an AiO for everything but gaming at native resolution. But then again, I take it that any sort of gaming done at native resolution will be of the very low graphic complexity kind, otherwise fps will take a severe dip.

Weighs the same as 4 pints of milk. Costs the same as 4 cows.
