Those are some pretty decent specs for such a cheap phone.
Looks really good at that price
I quite dislike phones without expandable storage due to my data cap being restrictive at 500mb/month but that phone looks like great spec's for £135 without contract.
Hopefully when announced it won't have shot up in price.
I like the look of it, I don't 'need' the nexus 5 specs (not to say I don't like it as I do) as I mainly use my mobile as a phone with the odd bit of browsing and sat nav if necessary.
So depending on what cpu/gpu combo and ram (this is the important part) it might be a nice option to consider with my sim only deal...
No Micro SD ?
It would have been better if the 5Mpx camera was 8Mpx

And then the prices goes...not so budget
It has a water repellent coating too! Yay!
Edit!!
It has 1GB of RAM:

Be interesting to see how long that battery life actually is with normal use. I think at that budget a good battery life could make it a winner compared to the current crop of budget smartphones. Motorola are the only manufacturer I know of to release a high end smartphone with extra battery capacity at the expense of size so perhaps they've noticed that there is demand for it.
I wasn't impressed by what I've read about Moto X, but a smartphone with decent battery life for £135 seems like a winner. You can't complain about responsiveness at feature phone price.
Motorola seem to have quite a few interesting projects coming to fruition now, things are looking good for them. Perhaps Google got a better deal than we thought.
I'd say it sounded cracking if it weren't for that measly 8GB
My Xperia SP has a mere 5.4GB free of its '8GB' after OS etc and that's just simply not enough!
Oh yes of course I have an additional 8GB sd card but I'm no heavy user of internal memory and I couldn't live with 5.5GB, i'd hope the Motorola would have more available.Big difference being the SP has an SD slot so its not too much of a limitation. I find that the SP also could do with more RAM, im hoping it gets 4.4 and il just keep it because its actually a pretty damn solid phone for the money!
As for the SP, Sony announced 4.3 is due in December but I've heard nothing about 4.4 yet.
