Using a pair of Hanns.G HS233 monitors. The image quality is passable, but I mainly bought them for their 120hz refresh rates. Always keep an eye out for a third going anywhere, but they were discontinued a while back, and thus are rare.
Dell 3007fpw
9/10
Would be nice to have 120Hz for desktop work but it's something I can live without. otherwise, they are awesome.

Got a deal for £300 on an AOC Q2770PQU, 2560x1440. As a display monitor, after calibration it's a lovely screen. One review I saw before buying mentioned that although it's got a competitive grey-to-grey of 5ms, they reckon there's an input lag of 13ms. I haven't noticed this being a problem in the games I play, and I don't know what range of input lag is deemed acceptable by the most strict standards. To my uneducated senses, it seems sharp enough.
The only problem I had with it at first is that, aside from console gaming to friends' huge TVs, I've never played on a screen this large before, or at a resolution higher than 1080p. No doubt this will seem funny to a lot of you, but I found it a bit overwhelming at first, as my eyes couldn't take it all in. I've now learned to sit back from the screen and it's a lot more comfortable. It's great being able to use several windows of an app at once, and I can finally read magazines on Zinio without touching the mouse. Very happy.

dell p2414h, it's an IPS (albeit the 'cheaper' version) panel, every input I'll ever need and it's 24 inch 1080p. Brightness, colour etc are all as good as I need after calibration and it looks fairly nice to which is always a bonus
I'm toying with getting a second as they've come down since I bought mine but I also keep looking at 4k screens but keep getting put off as they're not quite at the price/performance/features I want yet, not to mention windows and it's programs aren't quite ready for 4k .
Sony 32" Full HD Bravia LCD. 7/10 Love the size and comparative monitors of that size are outside my budget. Has 4 HDMI inputs which is more than most monitors have
Philips 221E Full HD 8/10 Clarity is above average.
Fujitsu 17" LCD 1440X900 max resolution. It's resolution is not the best but its clarity beats everything else I got. Fine lines are not fuzzy on the edges. Have put it right next to the Philips and dragged the same spreadsheet to be on both. The Fujitsu's sharpness is visibly superior. 9/10. I would love this one in full HD.
I plug my i5 laptop into my Samsung SyncMaster 205BW LCD monitor from 2006! A 20 inch screen and has only a 1680 x 1050 resolution, but it does the job before I decide to go 4K probably next year.
6/10 - I would say. The screen has a yellowish tinge, when looking at it from the side or even slightly off centre. It's just for extra screen space really and not for colour work or gaming at the moment.
Dell UltraSharp u2212hm 22'' full Hd it is a brilliant monitor
Still using a NEC 24WMGX3 on my PC, Its been very good.
I am up for buying the LG 34UM95 if LG can sort their backlight problems or if Dell releases their 34" with the same panel.
Dell 3007... The updated one that didn't have the funny blobs and back light issues.
Been using it for years with no issues and no reason to upgrade.
Once 30 inch UHD ones come out at a decent price. ... that may change
one Yamakasi Q270 Catleap 2560x1440 and a DGM IPS-2701WPH Pro IPS 2560x1440. great amount of desktop space!!
Crossover 27QW 2560x1440 IPS.
TO say it cost me very little from Korea it really is stunning. Out of the box it I was amazed is it didn't look to need much calibration so I stuck the spyder 4 on it anyway to which is made a very small adjustment.
I most use it for video/photo editing to which it is great, the few times I have run games the extra resolution over 1080p does show.
Have been using a Dell 2209WA for the last couple of years. It's that Dell monitor, which I personally credit with the resurgence in IPS-based desktop monitors.
Granted, the resolution is only 1680x1050, but that's enough for me (and I wouldn't even have room for a 24" monitor). Besides, the panel uses the 16:10 aspect ratio, which I find vastly preferable to 16:9, and since the monitor seems to have been Dell's "budget" IPS test balloon, it boasts a true 8 bit panel. No dithering here.
The panel is also quite fast for an IPS panel. Will be quite sad if/when this monitor dies on me.
$329 on amazon, the SEIKI 39" 3840x2160 is awesome for coding at 30Hz, downscales perfectly to 1080p at 120Hz for gameing.
A 27" Dell U2713HM and also have a 23" Asus PA238Q.
