I'm hoping it's a typo, but waterproof to 1 m (and up to 3 m with additional case) does not inspire confidence - you could easily breach that in a swimming pool (as in their promo pictures) by accident.
Ah HTC that well known brand for making high quality cameras that aren't a load of marketing hype! I'm sure these will be excellent and not utter junk.

It looks difficult to hold steady & consistently, plus use in a swimming pool will probably will get you arrested or at least thrown out, doesn't matter what depth capabilities are!

It seems like a novelty to me, depending on the price I dont see it selling much
